In 2015 the plan-framework for the rehabilitation, conservation and enhancement of the archaeological site of Poliochni on Lemnos was approved (ΥΠΠΟΑ/ΓΔΑΜΤΕ/ΔΑΑΜ/ΤΜΑΜ/30526/27451/2458/751). In July 2016 the action “Rehabilitation, conservation and enhancement of the archaeological site of Poliochni on Lemnos” was included in the Operational Programme “North Aegean 2014-2020” (2112/01-07-2016) under the supervision of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Lesbos, and in October the same year works started on site.
