The prehistoric settlement of Poliochne is approximately 17 km from the airport of Lemnos and 34.6 km from the capital of the island, Myrina and its port.

The archaeological site is accessible by car, taxi and bus and has a dedicated parking area.

Today, the archaeological site, after the completion of the project “Restoration, maintenance and promotion of the archaeological site of Poliochne Lemnos”, which was implemented in the framework of the NSRF 2014-2020, has infrastructure to serve all visitors, such as sanitary facilities, a refreshment room, routes navigation, information signs, as well as a touch sign, but also a wheelchair.

In the modernized exhibition there is the model of the prehistoric settlement, interactive digital applications and suitable observational material, while special emphasis has been placed on replicas of exhibits for touch. The informational material is available in print and audio format, as well as in Braille.
